building elevationMeat Processing Center
  • Facility will house limited meat and poultry harvest operations, processing and packaging of products, a test kitchen, ready-to-eat operations, a retail sales office and a conference/training room. Approximately 14,500 gross square feet.
  • Located northwest of the Poultry Science Instructional Center along Stenner Creek Road.
  • Project is 100% Donor Funded; cost estimate is approximately $5,000,000.
  • Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2010.

  • The renovation includes new hardscape, landscape and the construction of a new stage.
  • Currently in design development with OMNI Design Group.
  • Projected construction beginning mid-June 2009.
  • Construction completion is anticipated to be Winter 2010.
  • Total project budget $4,478,000.

  • The project will provide a Materials Demonstration Laboratory for the College of Architecture and Environmental Design, Construction Management department.
  • Currently in design with projected construction beginning Spring of 2009.
  • Total project budget is $2,999,000.
Anderson Pool Replacement CLICK HERE FOR LOCATION ON CAMPUS
  • The project involves replacement of the existing pool with a new stainless steel pool with 19 lanes 25 yards in length and 8 lanes 50 meters in length. Project also includes a new 15 foot by 30 foot therapy pool.
  • Construction phase is from October 2008 thru April 2009.
  • Total project budget is $3,071,000.

  • The project involves replacement of Cal Poly’s Science building (#52) with a building that is conducive to modern needs. The project will provide 185,800 square feet including lecture space, laboratory space and faculty offices for the College of Science and Math.
  • Currently in design with projected construction beginning Spring 2009.
  • Projected budget is $124,000,000.

  • The project will provide 20,000 square feet of research space available for lease.
  • Currently in design with actual construction beginning January 2009.
  • Total project budget is $5,700,000.

Construction Innovation Center
  • The project included a new building with approximately 46,000 square feet and 165,000 square feet of renovation for the College of Architecture and Environmental Design.
  • Construction was completed September 22, 2008.
  • Total project budget $25,441,053

Bonderson Projects Center
  • The Projects Center is a new facility for senior projects and other related activities. In 2001, Paul R. Bonderson Jr. and Sandra K. Bonderson established the Bonderson Excellence in Engineering Gift Fund for Projects. The fund benefits the College of Engineering and Computer Science Laboratory Renovation and Upgrade
  • Projected Completion Date: Fall, 2006
  • Construction Start Date: Spring, 2005
